Now your final thoughts will live on after you're gone.
The entire Final FYI service aims to be simple and straight-forward.
Easy, you can just reset your password and a link will be emailed to you.
It happens, but the best solution is to say goodbye to that account and fire up a new one.
Because we have no sure-fire way to make sure anyone is really the person they say, we made a decision to never expose an account just in case it's a scam.
If a subscription expires, and the user is still alive, nothing happens - no emails are sent.
When you input it, we check that the address is available to accept email, but if it's just plain wrong then the email will either be delivered to the wrong person or bounce. So be careful!
Generally no. One of the ways we can offer this service at such a low price is by cutting back on stuff like refunds and chargebacks.
This is our one thing, this is all we do.
Each year, about 3 months before your renewal, we will send you an email asking you to click on a link that shows you're still alive.
If you don't respond, 30 days later we'll send you another email alerting you that you missed the last email, and now we're worried about you. There will be another opportunity for you, in this second email, to click a link to indicate you're not dead yet.
If you miss the second one, a final check will be an SMS text message sent to the telephone number we have on record for you. If that goes unanswered there is one final check.
If you have a trusted friend or family member listed, we will attempt to contact that person through email and ask if they are aware of your current condition. If the response is that you're dead, or they don't respond at all. One week later your emails will go out. If the response if that you're still alive, your account will be reset for another year.
